The New York Mountain trail begins at Baryeta Cabins Road #423 and ends at Nolan Lake Trail #1898. To start at the Baryeta Cabins Road, you must either have a rugged, high-clearance 4WD or hike up the road first. Another option is to start the trail further up at the trailhead for New York Lake Trail #2221.
