Free primitive camping on Matagorda Bay at Magnolia Beach, a Calhoun County park near Indianola, TX. Popular with Canadian snowbirds and van lifers. Hard-packed sand beach fits ~100 rigs. No hookups, boondocking only. Flush toilets and warm showers on-site. 14-day stay limit (must leave 30 days before returning). No dump station. Dogs allowed on leash. Vehicles park perpendicular to water. North bridge entrance has 10,000 lb axle weight limit — heavier rigs use south entrance through Indianola Park. Nearby overflow: Indianola Beach Park ~1 mile north (also free). Contact: Calhoun County Parks Board (calhouncotx.org/parks).
