Challis National Forest, this is a grassland more than a forest, very steep road to get to it, but nicely gravelled. Recommend 4wd. I think it is near a radio tower. Other than that, it was fairly desolate and beautiful. Not far from Arco ID (Idaho) and Craters of the Moon National Monument.
