Black Kettle National Grassland at Dead Indian Lake. A beautiful spot with about a dozen camp sites. A few of which have full sun all day and great access to the lake. The others, closer to the entrance, are very well shaded with great hammock spots. Both locations have large, flat, grassy areas perfect to pitch a tent, with restrooms close by. Free, legal, and public year around with a 14 day limit on all stays.
