The Fins and Things 4x4 Trail offers spectacular views of the La Sal Mountains across the sandstone domes of Sand Flats Recreation Area. Drivers should allow 3-4 hours to complete the 10 miles of steep climbs and even steeper descents. Portions of the trail are limited to daytime only. "Daytime" is defined as a hour after sunrise to 1/2 hour before sunset. Please stay on the marked route and follow the one way signs.  Motorized travel is only allowed on designated routes.
