Blue Ridge Parkway Milepost 418.8, elevation 5,120 ft. Two waterfalls accessible from the same trailhead: Lower Falls (0.8-mile round trip, 60-ft cascade) and Upper Falls (3.2-mile round trip, wide flowing cascade). Named for the mossy hummocks that once resembled gravestones after a windstorm. High-elevation meadows, rhododendron tunnels, and one of the most popular short hike destinations on the BRP. Free parking at the Graveyard Fields Overlook. No entry fee for Blue Ridge Parkway. Note: can get crowded on summer weekends — arrive early or weekday.
