Capt'n Karl's Trail Series – Pedernales Falls

Capt'n Karl's Trail Series race at Pedernales Falls State Park, 2585 Park Rd 6026, Johnson City TX (9 miles east of Johnson City, 43 miles west of Austin). Distances: 60K, 30K, 20K, 10K, 10K Ruck, 5K Sunset, Youth 1-mile. All races are loop-based — 5K is 1 loop, 10K/20K/30K/60K are 2 loops. Course follows Juniper, Madrone, Wheatley, and Equestrian Trails over Twin Buttes, Lone Mountain, and Butler Mountain with seasonal creek crossings and wooded Hill Country vistas. Start times: Kids Mile 6:30 PM, 60K/30K 7:00 PM, 20K/10K 7:30 PM, 5K 8:00 PM. Cupless event — bring your own cup or hydration vest. Pacers allowed for 60K runners on second lap only ($10 fee).
