Real dinosaur footprints are out there, on public land, accessible without a guide or a fee. Government Canyon State Natural Area near San Antonio has Cretaceous theropod tracks preserved in limestone right along the trail. Utah has dozens of sites. You photograph them, you touch the same stone an animal touched 112 million years ago, and you walk away different.

San Antonio, TX. The Dinosaur Track Trail has Cretaceous theropod tracks in limestone bedrock right along the trail. Easy access, free with Texas State Parks Pass. This is where we found ours.
The Warner Valley Dinosaur Tracksite near St. George is free to access. Moab area has multiple sites. The Colorado Plateau is layered with Jurassic and Cretaceous deposits — pay attention to the rock.
Photograph everything. Move nothing. Most track sites are on public land where disturbing fossils is a federal crime under ARPA. The tracks stay where the animal put them 112 million years ago.
